Today a healthy way of life has gained momentum of a cult. It's very fashionable to be healthy and lead a correct lifestyle. Hardening is a way to achieve and maintain a stable and strong immunity. But not everyone has the opportunity to visit swimming pools or join a group of walruses, as well as regularly, to visit the seas. Children, like no other, are subject to frequent respiratory-viral diseases. And how to be in that case? Of course, it's better to warn than to treat later. In this case, there is an exit and it is available for everyone - it's an inhaler.
What is an inhaler?
Probably many remember the old, "good" inhalers, which even adults were afraid. They were a regular basin or a pot filled with a hot water solution with an admixture of nutrients in the form of potatoes, medicinal herbs, soda and other. Above him, he had to hide himself with a towel and suffer "torture." The procedure is not the most pleasant, because the steam worked on the face and other parts of the body, and the temperature could not always be regulated.
Children to attach to such a ritual was much more difficult. Modern inhalers are devices that are used to transport medicine to the human body through the respiratory system (lungs). It is used in the prevention or treatment of diseases of the respiratory tract (for example, asthma). But since our lungs have a well-formed circulatory system, inhalers can be used to transfer other medications through them to the body. This can be done with the treatment of influenza or insulin delivery for people with diabetes.
Types of inhalers

In modern practice, three main types of inhalers are used:

  •  Ultrasonic;
  •  Steam;
  •  Ink jet (compressor).
Each has its preferred characteristics under certain conditions of use.
Ultrasonic, or as it is commonly called - nebulizer, inhalates a cloud of small particles of the drug in the form of an aerosol.
         The steam inhaler produces a jet of steam under the influence of high temperatures. It is considered to be the most effective, but at the same time it is quite difficult to persuade a sick child to inhale hot steam. And at a body temperature higher than 37.5 C, it is completely contraindicated.
 Compressor inhalers (nebulizers) do not work with various herbal decoctions, stationary, with large dimensions and much more noisy than ultrasound. But they are the most correct and universal in work.
         Such a device as an inhaler should be in a house where there is a child. After all, with its help you can carry out preventive measures to the child and the treatment itself. Frequent acute respiratory disease is the indicator. For children there is a special design of devices in the form of toys and little animals that your chad likes. It is also possible to choose between a tube and a mask. An excellent preventive effect will create even inhalation of vapors of mineral waters. It will facilitate breathing with runny nose and irritated larynx, moisturizes the respiratory tract.
         Before you buy the device, you need to read the contraindications, after consulting with a doctor.
